Playing dress up: a story of one afternoon

It was a regular super busy afternoon but a package from SHEIN has arrived and I could not help myself to pause my busy schedule and play dress up instead. Super cute dresses were just what I needed to spark my creativity. I quickly walked to my dressing room and started pulling together looks that can be worn using my new dresses with some favorite purses, hats and shoes.

The first outfit I put together was this Rococo inspired dress with my favorite Giuseppe Zanotti heels and a new purse I got in Paris. It was looking super fun that I started thinking of where to wear it to and I thought that it could make a great outfit for the upcoming Bottle Rock Musical Festival in Napa yet it was missing something. It was missing a cool hat! And that’s when I decided to add my favorite fedora hat to complete the look.

Then I saw this pretty blue dress that just had to be worn together with another purse that I got in Paris and that is matching it so perfectly. To complete the look a new pair shoes from TopShop London and an old favorite hat!

This look is probably the most “me” one. I love wearing street style and combining it with feminine details like a classic dress and a pair of high heel shoes. And because I chase kids all day long, the best bag for me is a backpack :)

So there you have it! A fun creative and girly afternoon that made me think that I need to play dress up more often.
