Feeling inspired

I have mentioned it before that when I am creatively stuck or feel like needing to express myself, I love putting together “flatlays”. It’s a great way to think about composition, lighting and content. It’s like a puzzle, a game of geometric relations and color. So after being sick for 2 weeks with my kids, I really felt that some creative release is DUE! I pulled some new clothing pieces from my closet and for the drop-back used favorite illustrations by Monir.

It’s so theraputic to create flatlays. I spent maybe 20-30 minutes and immediately felt like new creative energy is rushing in! And speaking of the the cute spring wardrobe update, how lovely are this blouse, skirt and coat? I just got them and can not wait to use my new creative energy to put it all together for a fun outing.
